At some point in our lives, perhaps even daily we may live a moment of our lives though the eyes of someone we know, admire and/or idolize. To whom if you will, do you turn to vicariously live your life through, if even for a moment??

My invented protagonists in my fiction works.
I’ve always been more of a Melville than a Hemingway, despite my best efforts.
My oldest son. He recently went to Germany for three weeks, and I basically “stalked” him on the internet while he was gone. I changed my desktop background daily to include pictures of the location he was visiting that day.
As far as humans go I’m cool…but I will live vicariously through my fish. Just staring at my tank imagining me being in this little ecosystem. Darting in and out of the corals, rubbing myself against and snuggling with the sea anemones. Venturing past the pistol shrimp’s hole in the rocks baiting him to come out and “shoo” me off with his popping claw. Oh the adventures I have.
@Cruiser good point! That’s exactly what I have there!!
love that movie
my jazz trumpet player…....
I got all vicarious with my older son (and told him I would) when he went to Europe last summer. But most of the time the answer is “no one.”
People live their lives vicariously through me. I’m a hot young woman making it as a street accordion player in an awesome city. :)
I don’t think there’s anyone. Is that because I’m unimaginative? Hmmm.
Angelina Jolie’s knickers.Only for a brief moment mind you. That’s all I need. Bliss, sheer bliss.
One of my best friends. She is naturally physically beautiful and glamorous. Her home is gorgeous, her car is posh, her clothes are lovely, her family friendly & supportive, her job is appreciative and comfortable. She travels to wonderful places often. Everyone who comes to know her loves her and treats her well.
