I have seen ads for a Christmas in July sale event. I think that these commercials are annoying. (hhgreg commercials with the lyrics- “h h h h h h h h h greg”) Why would people buy something that you can’t use this time of year?

RETARDED. As if christmas in December November October September wasnt enough…..
fuck christmas….
Silly but I don’t listen to radio or watch regular TV anyhow. The only aggravation I have now is going into stores around Halloween time and seeing Christmas decorations and hearing Christmas music- the worst.
Chestnusts roasting on an open…uh, uh, uh…
SWIMMIN’ HOLE!
It sort of makes sense for crafters who begin working on their gifts at that time, but it’s a disgusting marketing ploy.
I don’t think about the shopping or marking ploy drama. I think about Santa at the beach, colorful lights strung on patios, and partays!! I am very much looking forward to celebrating Christmas in July this summer because I will be among other celebrants who will undoubtedly decorate in the most uberly terrific, most joyously ho ho way!
Its just an advertising gimmick. when advertisers run out of ideas for a sale to drum up business, its the old “Christmas in July Sale”. the bottomline is the business is low on money and they want all of yours.
Kids in southern Chile and Argentina would love it. I’m dreaming of a white Christmas. Just like the ones I used to know. Where the treetops glisten, and children listen. To hear sleigh bells in the snow…
