Back in 2001 we used to play. So yeah, I know what it is.
A Googlewhack is a two word query in Google that returns only one result. Also, both words must be in Google’s dictionary.
omgsh i love googlewacking!!!
my cousin and i spent like a whole day trying to google wack!! its so fun if you bored lol
A UK comedian called Dave Gorman made a television series out of the idea. He found that his promo web site contained one, and set off to meet the owners of other web sites that were the results of other googlewhacks.
You can find out more directly from Dave Gorman’s website entry
There are also a Book and a DVD available based on the TV series (originally broadcast in the UK on the BBC).
Dave Gorman’s done other stuff too, like going around the world trying to find every other “Dave Gorman” – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dave_Gorman – He’s done some really unusual and interesting stuff!
