What is the best website to find a job during this economic crisis? I've found just looking for a job on most websites is a partime job in itself!
I have spent hours upon hours on the mainstream job posting websites and have extreme difficulty finding a job that is right for me. Can anyone sympathize with this? If so where did you go to seek employment?

Check your local paper. Knock on doors.
It’s interesting that you ask this, as your profile says that you and your friends started your own online job seeking service.
To answer the question; yes, most hotel companies and restaurant chains use two online services that are solely cater to the hospitality industry.
I go right to the source by checking the companies website and looking at the career opportunities listed there.
I don’t think there is one best job site. it varies by i8ndustry. You have to check many job sites: the local paper, craigslist, mainstream job sites, actual company web sites plus others.
What industry are you looking in?
I might try doing what you claim in your profile:
“I am currently running a business with two of my friends called DreamFetcher. It is a job website that uses a matching platform similar to a dating service to connect compatible job seekers and employers. I also run my own website where I give investment and startup advice (austinjohncurtis.com).”
I think I was watching CNN a few months back and they mentioned that it’s actually much harder to find jobs on the internet. It’s recommended that you go straight to the place itself and apply there.
Beware of coming across like a spammer
All the unemployed people in my family use every source possible, and have had the most (limited) success with live employment agencies who pre-screen the applicants and jobs.
