If you are going to be sick from drinking it, i don’t know, but i wouldn’t taste it.
The idea of drinking sour tasting milk is enough for me to not drink it…, i wouldn’t drink milk ever again after such experience.
I am a real sissy when it comes to fresh/unfresh dairy.
I’ve left unpasteurized milk out overnight (intentionally), and it is fine to drink. I can’t imagine 4 hours would be devastating – you know the drill. Does it smell bad? Pour some in a glass, does it look odd?
If you are really worried about it, don’t drink it.
I looked it up on a site about food safety, and it says 4 hours is the max for items that need to be refrigerated.
I use two rules regarding food. The two hour rule: Don’t let hot foods cool to room temperature for more that two hours, or cold foods warm to room temp for two hours, and, if in doubt, throw it out. It’s not worth a case of food poisoning. Been there, done that.
If the cat drinks it you’re good to go. lol

Yes, I agree..but..I do make an exception for certain marinated salads that I like to warm up to room temp. before serving. I don’t re- refrigerate them though after that. A one time serve.
I would sniff and taste a bit on my finger. If it doesn’t smell or taste off, you’ll be fine. My guess is that it’s good.
