I just changed my avatar, how often do you change yours, and why? I change mine whenever I make a cool pic, or I’ll revert to my XOIIO one. Do you have a default avatar?

Rarely. I changed mine because my age is constantly a factor when people want to argue with me. I don’t know anything because of my age.
So why give them ammunition? Isn’t that a shame? Tsk tsk.
I used to change it a lot, but I haven’t in a while. This one is from some Mountain Dew Green Label Art.
I jump back and forth among three or four different pictures. Sometimes I’ll throw in an oddball, like a picture of my tractor or some project I’m working on. I can’t leave it alone for more than a week.
I change it whenever I have a new post up on my blog. It’s a good boost to keep me going.
Infrequently, but then sometimes I just do. I have a few that I cycle through.
I changed a couple times till I scanned my kitteh. It’s been there ever since. <3
<—Lately I’ve been using this pic of Augustlan editing someone’s comments. (probably dp or another trouble maker).
Once or twice a year – I have one seasonal, which I use.
I had a different one when I first joined. I changed it to Butters shortly after, and it has been him, in different colors, since.
I didn’t mean to embrace it eternally, but it seems to embody what I feel I am: a goody goody.
I’ve only changed mine once (to this one from one of the standard ones). I don’t know if I’ll ever change it unless I get tired of it. I have another one ready to use if I do decide to change it.
Very rarely because this penguin is so much a part of my persona. But I have siwtched to grandson Jake a few times for a little while to shep some naches. I guess I’ve changed three times in two years, if you don’t count AstroChuck day.
Rarely. I make all of my avatars using the paint program that came with my computer, so it’s not easy and takes a while. I tend to generate a new one every few months or so. I might stick with this one, though. I quite like it.
I dress up for major holidays, but otherwise, my avatar remains the same.
Never have. Never will. I am the cookie.
I’d say every few weeks. :)
@Fly Your f*cking kidding right? You made that on MS paint?
I used to have a very handsome pic of me. But since I chose my current avatar (the chandelier of the Kennedy Center) I’ve left it. I think it looks like a jellyfish made of twinkle lights.
I never have in the year and four months that I have been here. I think it might be too late to start changing it now.
I just changed from my one dog to one of my three dogs. I might put a pic of me with the dogs up there one of these days, just for a change.
I love to see the different pics people put up. I said before I have enjoyed watching Dominic grow up. And it is always fun to see what Simone has today. It would probably be fun if everyone used pics of themselves and changed them periodically.
@XOIIO Well not all of it. I take original images and edit them, layer them, add my own flair, etc. to create an original avatar. I’m not THAT talented. ;)
@Fly Oh Ok, cool.
I figured that was impossible to do from scratch in MS Paint, even if you are divinci.
HAve you looken into gimpshop?
I change mine about once or twice a month. Usually whenever I find a cool picture online.
As often as I change my underwear.
And, @meagan, that’s ridiculous. Nobody judges your answers on your age. When you’re older, you’ll understand better.
hooboy
Often, whenever and whatever fits my mood!
This question inspired me.
@XOIIO I actually have it installed on my computer, but I find it confusing and difficult to use so I rarely bother with it. I should probably look into it further and read some guides or something, but it never really occurs to me when I have the time.
@mrentropy I didn’t pull that line out of my ass. Its been done.
@meagan You totally missed the irony.
@BoBo1946 Oops, my above comment doesn’t really make sense anymore. I changed my avatar for a while yesterday, but then I reverted back to the usual one. I guess I’m a creature of habit.
