I see I can link my Facebook account to my Fluther account. Why would I want to? (Or not want to?)

To waste even more time? I am about to delete my Facebook account. I joined because of the novelty and never check in. Yet, I am getting invitations to befriend lots of people.
Yeah, I quit playing the games because it just took up WAY too much time. But my friends are all over the country, so it’s nice keeping up with them.
No effin’ way. I use a pseudonym and a fake picture (believe it or not, that’s not me) on here for a reason. Not all you guys need to know where I live and hang out, and not everyone I know in “real” life needs to know my feelings on things like pornography.
So that you can get the award “Plank Walker”.
Other than that…no idea.
I thought it was to provide free advertising for Fluther.
[mod says] It’s so you can ask your question both here and to your facebook friends, if you want to. When asking a question, you’ll have a choice to post it to facebook or not.
What @augustlan said. But really, so that everyone you ever met at a party for 5 minutes or handed a 20 at a gas station can keep up with your every move in real time.
screw facebook. i was deactivating/reactivating mine since the time i finally caved to get one oct of 09 and dumped myspace finally a few months ago.
there is no point in linking it. that site id the devil i tell you. i like the (difference) of this site right here, it is very unique and i dont want facebook having any parts of it. my facebook is currently deactivated since i dont have the option to actually DELETE it. &i will be staying away from it for some time.
that’s the problem, it’s basically when myspace was really popular only now facebooks worse, i found myself after awhile only checking my email and spending all of my other internet time on facebook with a few ocassional google searches and that was it. no more.
So the CIA can [REDACTED]
^ ^ ^ always deactivating/reactivating. i contradict myself i admit. I too cannot help but get sucked into crap.so therefore it’s probably better that I can’t actually DELETE my facebook bc i know i’d just always be creating new ones constantly.
I appreciate my own honesty in the end , when it comes down to it.. it always comes out with me. : )
