What non-clothing item would you feel naked without?
I took my cross off to shower like always, and I forgot to put it back on in my rush to get out the door, and it’s driving me just this side of batty.

My salt & pepper goatee and mustache. Also my crown.
A wristwatch. The battery went in mine the other week so I was half a day without one before I could get a new battery. And it drove me nuts.
At the moment, a big assed bundle of gauze on my arm.
I’m attached to my sunglasses. I forgot them at home for a few days when I was on a trip and I felt self-conscious when people looked at me.
@Luffle I wore glasses for 35 years before I had lasik surgery. After the surgery, after they took the plastic eye-guard off, the first thing I did was put on sun glasses because I felt so weird with out something on my face!
My glasses and at night, my mouthguard.
My wedding and engagement rings.
Yeah, my glasses. And my Elsa Peretti bean necklace.
Earrings. I always have to have on earrings.
A headband. I always have to have one because my hair might be great in the morning but in the afternoon, it gets frizzy, and nappy on the top of my head.
I can’t live without my purse and the million items that I have somehow managed to jam into the poor thing.
If I don’t have my phone in my pocket I think I might explode.
Glasses. I can’t see without them.
My phone.
I need some sort of necklace. I have many. I need something around my neck to play with.
I’m with @downtide. The battery on my wrist watch died a couple of weeks ago and I was without it for a week. Drove me nuts! I also wear my engagement, wedding, grandmother’s wedding rings along with a ring my mother gave me for my 31st birthday all the time. My pearl earrings too.
<<My hat (i have a new one since half a year, a Fidel Castro cap, a black, gray thin striped one).
I wear it 16/24/7.
NAIL POLISH!!! ... I’m so used to have my nails colored, that if I don’t have any nail polish ( Just bare fingers ) it feels really weird…. It’s kind of a must for me being a girl…. I can wear sweats, have no makeup on, and have my hair tied BUT I need my pretty nail polish :)
My engagement & wedding ring, my watch and my glasses. And if I’m going somewhere that I don’t want to take my wedding ring set, I have a substitute band that I wear.
glasses…....ruby ring…..and healing bracelets (ajoite, bloodstone, shamanite, pietersite)
Earrings, I feel strange if I realize I don’t have any on.
Some sort of bag, doesn’t matter what type, when I don’t have one I keep thinking I have lost it.
G30 in my belt or Super Blackhawk in a shoulder holster. Without the use of my right hand, I’m forced to carry this puny .38 SPL revolver in my pocket. I feel naked without sufficient firepower at my fingertips (not that I’ve ever had to use it out of uniform). Sort of a “security blanket” thing for me.
Last weekend I got bit the fuck up on my arms by mosquitoes and spiders. As a result I couldnt wear my watch without a lot of pain and itchiness. I felt so weird and naked for the next 3 days.
My Leatherman knife and multi-tool and of course my glasses.
I need to have my hippy bag with me whenever I go out, it just doesn’t feel right otherwise.
Social pariah answer, ahead: My cigarettes and lighter.
I guess I’m the only one that doesn’t wear or carry around a lot of “extras”.. so nothing.
@augustlan No judgments from this corner. I’m two weeks into my seventh attempt to quit over 40 years.
@Symbeline You keep you’re zombie magic in that?
@augustlan You are evil and horrible. Everything that’s wrong in this world is because of you and people like you! You’re killing children!
Whew, what a rant. Now I need to go have a smoke!
(I’m never without my cigs and lighter, so I never miss ‘em).
I agree Auggie! It’s people like you who are creating global warning!!!
@mrentropy Wait for me!
I woke up this mornig with such a pain in my hand , it was swelling up badly and my wedding and engagement rings were really starting to cut into my finger. I managed to get them off, although it took a while and was NOT fun. As a result I had to work my whole shift at work today without them on. I felt positively naked. Dreadful feeling, really dreadful. It sounds ridiculous I know, but after so many years, they’re a part of me.
hugs honeys xx
