Why can't my friend send me textmessages?

I had the same problem when I just got my iPhone u have 2 call AT&T. There number is 1 (800) 888 7600.

have u tried doing a power cycle on both phones? (power cycle is when you turn it off, and leave it off for a few minutes, then turn it back on)

Also, can u recieve msgs from other phones? And can your friend send msgs to other phones?

Your friend may be trying to send an MMS message, which the iPhone doesn’t accept.

verizon is notorious for this unfortunately. I speak with experience.

maybe your friend just doesn’t like you?

I have Verizon and I will constantly not get calls or text messages, which usually results in big misunderstandings, haha.
