From the past or present from Looney Toons to Disney, Pixar to Dreamworks. Or something else entirely. Of all the many voice characterisations who/which would you say rank amongst the best in your opinion?

Ah,say Boy! It’s Foghorn Leghorn.
SpongeBob Squarepants definitely has the most unique voice – without the need of a speech impediment to differentiate it from the others.
But, Pixar’s Wall-E has one of the greatest voices I have ever heard in film/television. He doesn’t talk much, but when he does, my heart melts. It’s robotic, yet human. It’s pre-programed yet spontaneous. Spoken from a metal box, but filled with heart & emotion.
Last, but not least, Ralph Wiggum from The Simpsons. His voice & quips make me smile every time.
The Teacher from Peanuts cartoons. (I just watched this and need to go get a tissue from laughing so hard.)
Might add, don’t really like Homer, but he does have a huge following.
@Austinlad like that Geico commercial with Elmer…funny!
@lucillelucillelucille has it with Foghorn Leghorn… but since I have to answer something that hasn’t been said yet…
I would-diddly-ould say that Ned Flanders is pretty gol-darn original, good buddy. And of course, Apu Nahasabeanapentalon.
I like Johnny Bravo…. Haha Man I’m Pretty!
Or Pinky and the Brain… Pinky: What are we going to do tonight? Brain: What we do every night TRY to take over the WORLD!
The raspy voiced Marge Simpson!
@BoBo1946 , in fact, that commercial is the one of the Geiko commercials I’ve liked for a long time. Sooooo tired of that silly gekko, especially when he’s interacting with a human.
Captain Caveman was pretty incoherent but occasionally amusing.
I’m not a fan of Homer Simpson as a character, but I love Dan Castellaneta, who does his voice, among others. Harry Shearer is another Simpsons voice actor who kind of rocks.
I also love Jim Henson, Frank Oz, Carroll Spinney, Mel Blanc, Jim Cummings, Paul Winchell, Sterling Holloway, Mae Questel, Jack Mercer, Don Messick, Tom Kane, Richard Steven Horvitz, Lorenzo Music…
Also a fan of the voicework of Christopher Lee, Vincent Price, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, Angela Lansbury…
Specific performances: Eartha Kitt as Yzma. Paul Lynde as Templeton the rat. Douglas Rain as HAL 9000. James Woods as Hades.
What? I like animation and voice acting, okay? XD
@MacBean
And Tim Curry and Patrick Stewart, too, right?
I love Tim Curry’s “Hexxus” to this day – the pollution-beast from Fern Gully. And who can forget Robin Williams as “Batty”?
I love Stewie from “Family Guy”. I think he is awesome. The best is “Where’s my money, man?”
Hokey Smokes, Bullwinkle !
It’s the Kirward Derby !
@worriedguy, I have LOVED that line, ever since I saw that movie for the first time, many years ago. It’s just bloody brilliant!
I keep mistaking your avatar for Jeremy Renner
