…by “doesn’t work with Fluther” do you mean “I can’t log in”? If so, try clearing your cookies. If the problem persists (which it won’t) then yes, Chrome is the way to go (or Safari or Firefox or really any modern browser—which IE is not despite the fact that they seem to release new versions).

Firefox would be a good choice.
