Most images not loading properly on firefox today?

What would cause images to not load? It doesn’t seem to matter what site I visit today, most of the images are showing as a link or just text.

I switched to IE just now, so I think it’s exclusively a problem with my Firefox, but I am not sure just yet.

Any ideas?

EDIT: It isn’t working properly on IE, either. I’m getting the little boxes with the red X on several pages.

I have Firefox 3.6.7 and images are loading okay for me.

Is your internet connection phone, ADSL, cable, or something else?

I restarted my computer and it was still there, but after the 2nd restart everything seems to be fine again.

I wonder what that was all about.

That is odd. I’ve had no issues with 3.6.8, my roomate hasn’t had problems with his Ubuntu, so it must be just you!
