The lines between Church and State are being blurred.
How do we stop it?

Nowhere in accordance with reality, that’s for sure.
Straight into the toilet – if you let them.
With Obama in office, they don’t have quite the political influence in Washington that they had under the Bush Administration and we should be grateful for that but it doesn’t mean they are not still a threat.
It’s a shame that we’re shifting into this divided and conquered dialectic between Christian and Muslim extremism. Although it’s a pretty brill move on the part of TPTB, since it’s a fairly impossible dynamic to reconcile without giving up ground in the ridiculous primacy of belief in the right things.
They are doing their best to lead us straight down the path that they have chosen & in TX they are starting with the schools, by easing Science out & Religion in (& soon it will be coming to a school near you because TX is so big that the companies that mfg textbooks use TX textbooks as models for the entire US). We need science, it is critical for our current environmental needs, but what they want us to do is to “pray” for beneficial changes to occur instead of formulating scientific plans.
They don’t lead you anywhere if you don’t follow them. We need to expose the dangers associated with their thinking. And for religious people we should offer good alternatives. I think that’s the real problem. Not everyone wants to be an atheist. We need more attractive liberal forms of religion.
I’m sorry did you say Christian Reich?
@mattbrowne We don’t need any form of religion in government. That is the point of “Separation of Church and State.”
@NormanL – I was talking about “we, the people in our secular societies…” not the government. The christian right should not be the only religious option in our societies.
