What's something you refuse to give up on? (against all good advice)
I just got home from work and slipped into my favorite pair of jeans that fits me just right. I haven’t worn them for a while and as soon as I put them on, I had a moment of awwww .
Apparently not everybody sees it this way. In a classic case of “one mans trash is another mans treasure, everyone else thinks my jeans are only fit to go in the garbage.
How wrong they are! I mean yeah they have countless holes in them, but not in any indecent place. And yeah the color is really faded. And okay so it has one tiny little stain interesting detail on one leg, but its nearly at the bottom and hardly anyone notices it!
So I was wondering if any of you had any possessions that you love dearly and would never throw out, even if everyone else thinks it’s just a POS?

my shoes. I have an old pair of converse (ok, it’s not actually a pair of shoes. one of them is black, and the other is black with white skulls and red flowers)
and anyway, my shoes are worn, there are some holes in them and I think that if it rains, there will be a problem, for sure. and the funny thing is that, I’m not gonna stop wearing them, even though there are three other pairs of shoes in the closet (all new) waiting for me
ME TOO!!! i love my converse! they were a christmas gift, and I dont have a problem with the holes. they add character.

Hmm, I used to play a computer game nonstop when I was home, for like 2–3 years. Drove my parents insane and everyone (family, friends) hated me playing it, but it was addictive.
Now my little brother plays it nonstop like I did. Except it’s summer, so he plays till like 4/5 am, then sleeps in 3 PM. I never had it that bad, but now I know how my parents felt when I refused to give it up. It’s just unfortunate that I have no idea how to show him what he’s doing to our family by being like that. :/
(I’ll never regret playing that game, though, which is why I’m happy I never gave up, just lost the passion for it. =])
