What is your favourite TV series?
I have recently found a lot of enjoyment in watching certain TV series (sometimes back to back episodes if I have a few hours to kill!). Things like Doc Martin and Kingdom (for the Brits out there) or Glee and Ugly Betty (for those across the pond). Can you recommend any other series which are in the comedy drama category?

Malcolm in the middle is one of my favorites but i don’t think i can say its my favorite because i love a lot…
and i don’t like 2 and a half men…
Brothers and Sisters, How I Met Your Mother
Freaks and Geeks, Curb Your Enthusiasm (I don’t have HBO, so I’m not that far into it), Lie To Me is pretty decent. You might try True Blood. I’m not that much into vampires, but most people are.
“House” which is an American medical drama series starring your talented Hugh Laurie. His British humor is what keeps me seeking it out.
Star Trek TNG and Northern Exposure, tie score.
Its a tie between Burn Notice and Spartacus: Blood and Sand.
Well it’s not comedy, but I like Mad Men.
I just got into the Vampire Diaries this summer so it’s my favourite, next is Girlfriends the spin off – The Game , I watched Burn Notice but I don’t really understand it. Then 90210, Ugly Betty, Kendra, Holly’s World, Little Britain.
I am a TV hoe!!! Also I am trying to improve my vocabulary so I try to watch all kinds of TV shows.

The Royle Family is always good for a laugh. They do from time to time throw a litlte drama in there to spice things up a bit, which is nice…..my arse!!
@JilltheTooth I have just discovered the joys of Big Bang Theory. My boyfriend was telling me for ages how good it was and I always ignored him until I watched one episode and became hooked!

I enjoyed The Prisoner, but I don’t recall it being very comedic.
I like White Collar sometimes. But my favorite will always be Firefly.
I was a huge fan of The West Wing, Sports Night, Band of Brothers and Rome. At the moment I am a fan of Mad Men, HIMYM and The Big Bang Theory. I also love Bones, the CSI’s (mostly the original and Miami) and Law and Order.

For comedy I love Modern Family, still like M.A.S.H., Will & Grace . . . and sometimes Monk.
For drama, Law and Order SVU, The Closer, and Castle . . .
For sheer fun I like Top Chef and various cooking competitions (cakes and stuff—don’t like Iron Chef).
