What food or foods do you associate with your kind of music?
Someone just asked about kinds of music, and for some reason it made me think of certain foods as being more expressive of the kind of music I like than the official descriptions of music types.

Punk rock = cheap beer and little to no food
Country and Western—barbecue
Mariachi—Mexican food
Hoegaarten. Certainly not food. Indie rockers don’t eat.
Country- Friied Chicken. and cornbread

Oysters-love songs.
Turnips greens, cornbread, pinto beans-Blues?

Death/Black Metal- Barbecued ribs slathered in Tabasco sauce with a goblet containing red kool aid

Starting 1992, they became total wimps and made some lackluster albums (With the exception of St. Anger, calling it “Lackluster” would be complimenting it)
folk music: lots of hummus and other vegetarian stuff
In country music songs, they are always talking about fried chicken and various types of alcohol (especially beer and whiskey).
Nickelback = day old refrigerated Taco Bell
With bands like Franz Ferdinand, I think of vodka and fries or bar foods I guess it’s because some of their songs involve being seriously drunk….
