Does anyone have a good recipe for a ranch dip?
I want to make my boyfriend a nice ranch dip for chips and such, I’m wanting to do this because I want to give him a nice surprise. He LOVES ranch. Does anyone have any ranch like dip recipes? It would be greatly appreciated if someone replys back! Thanks!

Here’s a simple recipe that I use when fresh herbs are not available, fresh can be substituted at a rate of 2 or 3 to 1:
1 cup mayonnaise
½ cup sour cream
½ tsp dried chives
½ tsp dried parsley
½ tsp dried dill weed
¼ tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp black pepper (ground)
Mix well together in a large bowl, if dried ingredients are used, refrigerate in a covered container ½ hr to several hours before serving. Fresh can be served immediately. Keeps well covered in the fridge for several days (herb flavor gets stronger). Serves about 12.
Here is a recipe for ranch dressing:-
6 tbsp mayonnaise
1 fat garlic clove , crushed
a small bunch of flat-leaf parsley , chopped
a small bunch of dill , chopped
a large pinch of onion powder or granules (optional)
a couple of good squeezes lemon juice
Mix everything together and leave for 2 hours before serving. Enjoy
Recipes…....How creative! I love this….Add 1 cup herbal ranch, or any ranch to 1 cup cream cheese(softened) Add any grated or finely chopped veg. I have used grated radishes…...for a radish dip…......relish for fish, taco seasoning and salsa for a Mexican dip, chives and onions for an onion dip, chopped olives for an olive dip….etc. Be creative it’s so fun! Add a pinch of cayenne pepper for a little bite.
