(possibly NSFW!) Does having plans for the weekend make your Friday at work go quicker or slower?

I have a very full weekend ahead, which I’m very much looking forward to… the thing is, I have to go to work for 9 hours before it, and I am not looking forward to that long drag! (Admittedly, this is the job I’ve handed my notice in at, so I have slightly more bias here.)
Does your Friday at work go better and quicker when you have something to look forward to the other side of it?

It’s better when I have something to look forward to but not necessarily quicker.
what exactly is nsfw about this?
It makes no difference to me if I have plans for the weekend or not.
Friday’s are always really slow at my place, and thoroughly boring. When there’s not much to do this is what really makes the day drag…
Usually having fun weekend plans means having to do the home chores during the week instead of on the weekend, so time passes much faster. Work does get a little more stressful, because I can’t stay as late to get things completed.
I got it both ways…big plans to look forward to and I get to take off at 11:30 to go to the Cubs game with the rest of the people at work for a suppliers annual roof top outing!! Boy this morning is going to Draaaaaaaaggggg onnnnnnnn! XD
sorry @uberbatman in my head I was thinking it may not be a great idea to sit at work typing away about how quickly you wish it would go away!
I just go to sleep on the couch in my office. Before you know it, the day is over. ;-)
I have always felt, as an adult, that all time should be quality. Why let a work week tick by (and a week of your life) by wishing for something else?
I chose only careers that I loved. Going to work was fun; I looked forward to it.
@gailcalled I couldn’t agree more! That’s part of the reason why it’s a job I’ve given notice on!
Lol @ChazMaz I’ll bear that in mind, perhaps that could be the legacy I leave behind?
Nope, I’d start my weekend early. I’m self-employed.
