Have you read The Four Agreements?

I bought the AudioBook version and listened to it on a night-drive through Arizona. It was the perfect distraction-free environment for something so deep. I loved it and plan to give it another listen soon. A friend lent me a CD of another of his books, The Voice of Knowledge, which got me interested in this one.

It really struck me because I am on a path of self-discovery somewhat similar to what he describes. It was cool to compare notes with the author.

It’s one of my most important books. I pick it up frequently, and benefit from it every time I re-read it. I even have a card in my wallet with the four agreements listed on it.

I read it and loved it. I believe that the information presented has the potential to by life-changing. Believing that and making it happen are two totally different things though.

Yes. Part of my spiritual library. Very good.

One of the first I read some years ago now.

I love the reference to the ‘metote’, the fog. The fog of mind that keeps one in a separate state of disconnect.

Another awesome little pocket book of wisdom is Anthoney De Mellos..‘The way to love’...excellent little gem.

I am also a fan of Eckhart Tolles works, Byron Katy, Gangaji, Puppetji, Thich Nhat Hanh and Ken Wilber.

A good magazine also is Shambala Sun that features articles from the premiere spiritual leaders/teachers of today.

I own it, but have yet to read it. Not sure why I haven’t. Hmmm. I’ll have to give it a go.

It was suggested by my therapist and I love it.

Also I found The art and practicing of loving.

As if there is anywhere else to be..but of course there is…lost in mind! lol

Haven’t read it yet, but it has been highly recommended to me by several people whose opinion I respect. I own a copy, so maybe I’ll start it too.

Pema Chodron is also great!
