This was asked before, but with new Flutherers, want to hear new answers. One of the cool ones I learned of was watermelon and fresh basil. I just enjoyed this yesterday—loved it!

Salt on fruit.
Pickled eggplant is great on anything.
I like peanut butter and cheese sandwiches. Yum.
Mac ‘n’ cheese with HP Sauce.
Like a true Canadian, ketchup on most things.
I don’t think this is weird, but everybody else seems to think so: grilled cheese sami (best with gouda cheese) with syrup poured over it after it’s done grilled.
Strawberries with balsamic vinegar.
Scrambled eggs with hot sauce, or Mayo with rosemary on a sandwich
I love salt and vinegar potato chips to scoop up my extra mustardy potato salad with dill pickle relish in it. I also love mustard and mayo in scrambled eggs and make a sandwich with it.
I believe I have a thing for mustard! never really realized that until lately.
Pringles dipped in applesauce. People think I’m crazy until I remind them that applesauce on potato pancakes is very common.
@tedibear Do you have a little German heritage?
Dunno how unusual this combo is, but I love Macaroni (preferable Stouffer’s) and chicken fingers. It’s one of my favorite comfort meals.
@tedibear I hadn’t heard of potato pancakes until I met my lady. She’s 100 percent German. They’re great with applesauce.
I put grapes, cherries and oranges in many sauces.
Apple pie with extra-sharp cheddar
Pickled peaches. My sister made them and I thought it sounded awful. They were surprisingly sweet (almost too sweet) and very tasty.
@aprilsimnel – That’s a family favorite! Love apple pie and sharp cheddar!
@Adirondackwannabe – Funny, but I always think of potato pancakes as being Jewish or Irish! But my mom’s family is German and I’m sure that’s where she learned to make them.
Not a fan of mayonnaise here, so tuna fish salad and deviled eggs are made with spicy mustard instead.
French fries on cheeseburgers (layered between the cheese and the bun). Potato chips layered on a Philly cheesesteak. Doritos layered on tuna (mixed with mayo, a dash of French dressing, and chopped carrots), sandwiched between two slices of Italian bread. Scooping up cottage cheese with kettle-cooked potato chips. Smooshing mashed potatoes on the end of a hotdog with each bite. Dipping French fries into Wendy’s Frosty.
Chocolate Cake and cold wheat beer and lots of both!! Yum!
