When you are tying to post a blog and want to include several paragraphs from a piece, how do you do that?

Maybe you’re cutting instead of copying. when you copy, the original is still there. When you cut, you’re transferring the original.
I’m not clear on what you mean by losing the first one.
You could copy a paragraph onto a Word document, and then go get the subsequent paragraphs and copy them to the same document.
Then you could copy the whole thing into a blog.
ok, copy and paste, i right click on the subject…and when i go to copy something else…i lose the first one. @Facade you mentioned cutting…not familiar with that. Bottomline, want to take several quotes from different people and post to my page. Don’t know how to do that.
@marinelife oh, copy it too a document…got’cha.
@BoBo1946 When you right click, there should be an option to “copy” or an option to “cut.” Click copy and not cut. It should work.
Copy and place it on a “Word.doc” and repeat. Then take the “Word.doc” and “select all” and “Copy” go to blog “paste” you need and intermediate.
I select tha text I am interested in by putting the cursor at it’s start, holding down the “Shift” key and using the keyboard arrows or just clicking and dragging over it. Then “Ctrl” + “C” to copy, switch focus to the target document and click where I want to paste the text, and “Ctrl” + “V” to paste. NOTE: The keyboard shortcuts are for the PC and Windows based OS. For other Operating Systems, use the cut and paste shortcuts appropriate to that OS.
PS: If you want most or all of the document you are copying, use “Ctrl” + “A” to select all before doing the copy and paste.
I have a problem with that to. Thanks for asking BoBo.
@ETpro that was good. Thank you for that information my friend.
@BoBo1946 Glad to hit a question I can answer without consulting the Internets. :-)
Use a clipboard manager that saves everything you copy…then go back to that clipboard when you want to copy an earlier item….copy from your clipboard manager and paste as per normal.
I use.. www.clipmagic.com (it is free) Just leave the app running all the time.
