I’m arriving in Savannah, GA on Monday for 2 days. With this limited time, I want to see all of the good stuff that I can. What’s that good stuff?

Make sure to give yourself time to walk through the historic district. It is absolutely beautiful. I would guess that there are guided tours available. I went during Christmas, thinking that it would be a good time to go, only to find that everything was closed. Savannah has a small boardwalk that is worth visiting. There is also some good eating to be found.
You really need to take a ghost tour. They have ones you can walk on and there is one where you ride in the back of a hearse.
It is too bad that you will only be there for 2 days…it simply is not enough to thoroughly enjoy the area. I recommend booking a general tour bus of the historic area. It will give you the lay-of-the-land, and then you can decide what you want to hone in on.
I definitely second the historic district. Also, see Tybee Island.
For eating, there is The Lady & Sons, Paula Deen’s restaurant, which features Southern food.
Thanks for the suggestions!
GA’s all around!
I’m headed out in 3 hours and will be on my smart phone the whole trip so more answers are welcome!
