General Question

What the heck is this thing?

My Aunt took this picture over the summer a few years ago and wants to know what it is. It was taken in our back yard in Colorado Springs, CO. If that helps any.
If that link takes you to a photo of some cats, then click, “view album.” It will be the last picture of a yellow dandelion flower with the bug on it.
If any of you guys know where I could send this photo for an answer, that would be fantastic!

Wow thats one crazy bug but i have no idea what it is, looks like a mix between a moth, a stick insect and a praying mantis
