Who Gave you what?

oh ya… my love of books and History is from my Dad’s side too.

Physically I am more similar to my Dad, my mentality is vaguely similar to my Mom, my love of music is from both sides as is my talent in massaging, my temperament skipped a few generations as it seems to have come from my Great Grandma.

I have my dad’s baby face and his side of the family is generally shorter than my mom’s. I’m 5’3”. I’m also quiet like my dad, and got my musical side from him. He played clarinet, I played clarinet and saxophone.

My mom always said I was blessed with her nice legs and ankles. I’m caring and a great mom like she is, but I also tend worry almost as much as she does. My love of photography and the outdoors is definitely from my mom’s side.

My family calls me the “Mutt” lol. To explain, my older brother took after my mother 100% in looks, shes all Italian, jet black hair, black eyes dark olive skin, fast metabolism with all of my dads personality, my older sister took after my father in in looks 100%, hes German, shes short with the wide build, blonde hair sky/pale blue eyes, pale skin, slower metabolism and is all my moms personality.

I on the other hand am 100% a perfect mix of both, jet black hair, pale olive tinted skin, short, in between the metabolisms, and my eyes are sky blue in the middle with a sapphire ring around the egde of them, even my toes and nails are a mix between them… my personality is more like my dads, he introduces me as ” this is my youngest daughter Keri, shes me with tits” yeah…

I look like my mom’s side of the family and share alot of personality traits with my dad…my mom was creative and goofy though ;))

Both my parents were musically inclined but I am not. :(

Got my blond hair, blue eyes, and short stature from my mom. My nose comes from my dad. :)

My high self-esteem and OCD come from both of my parents, my interest in computers and electronics comes from my dad, interest in gardening and houses comes from my mom, etc. My stubbornness definitely comes from my mom and my love of debate comes from both.

It’s a winning combination. ;)

My dad taught me about music which I love and the arts and guy stuff like playing ball, fishing, how to design, build and fix things. My dad also taught me it is OK to make mistakes as that was the fastest way to learning true lessons in life.

My mom is special…she is funny, always laughing…she taught me how to have fun with life! She taught me how to cook, sew, clean and plant a garden all of which I love to do except the cleaning parts. Most of all she taught me that women can not only be beautiful but also strong and tough like men. She even taught me how to fight and defend myself as she was the tough one in her neighborhood as she made sure nobody messed with her little sisters.

@lucillelucillelucille Yep nothin like 100% Italian “chin music” as my mom used to and still calls it! AND I have not lost a fight to a girl yet! ;))

Physically, I’m a (slightly taller) clone of my maternal grandfather. I look nothing like either of my parents.

Creativity, meticulous nature, cleanliness, interest in music and counter-culture…all from my dad.

Shrewdness, outgoing personality and explosive temper from my mother.

I also picked a thing or two from my aunt and paternal grandparents whom I spent a lot of time with growing up.

I look just like my Mom (another pic). Although, I get my coloring from my Dad. Mom had auburn hair and green eyes. Dad had dark hair and blue-grey eyes.

My height could come from either one (both vertically challenged). I get my creative side (and love of beautiful things) from my Pops, and my love of music and my smarts from my Mama. Both loved animals and nature. I’m rather nurturing like my Mama. Stubborn like my Dad. Strong (emotionally) like my Mom. Outgoing like my Dad. And, I have my Mom’s sense of humor.

I got my looks (olive skin, black hair, brown eyes) from my mom. I got my personality from my dad- he’s reserved and has a dry sense of humor. Hanging out with my dad is the best.
