Mondegreen Queen: What song lyrics do you always sing wrong...and do you care?
“We’ll call it a trout. I can’t walk out. Because I love you too much, baby”-Elvis, via my brain.
What realizations have you had about the lyrics to the songs you love?

I always sing them, all of them wrong. More fun that way.
“Hold me closer, Tony Daaaanzaa…” ;-)
Ahhh, the old Tony Danza. Probably the best.
I thought it was shiny panda.
CCR singing about “There’s a bathroom on the right…”.
The Clash-I say “Lock the cash box!” Obviously not right, but I find it funny.
AC/DC “Dirty deeds, Thunderchief!”
Ditto “there’s a bathroom on the right.”
I always sing the lyrics to “a daisy chain for satan” by MLWTKK wrong. I know the actual lyrics, I just like the ones in my head, better. haha.
My favorite as of late is Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance”...for months I sang it as “You and me could write a battle map”. It makes sense when you sing it in the car!
Caught in a battlllllle maaapppp
Where my SO works, they pipe in music while they work on the production line. When Britany Spears’ “Womanizer” came out, all he heard was “One Banana.” And he is soo right. Just listen to the chorus.
