this sounds like a joke, but it isn’t…
“cheese burger”
A passion (of mine).
viewing, collecting and surrounding myself with amazing art.
The toilet that marked the avant-garde movement.
I think of the little clay pot sitting on my shelf that my niece made me when she was 5 in art class. :]
Classical music.
But that’s probably because I’m listening to Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 12 right now. Normally I would think of “paintings” first when I think of art. Every little kid learns at first that “painting” is synonymous with “art” and then later learns of other forms of art. So that kind of stuck with me and still does to some extent.
I thought of ‘Art’, the play by Yasmina Reza. But that’s probably because you italicised it.
The second thing that pops into my head is the time I went to the Albertina museum in Vienna and had a lovely conversation about art with a friend in front of some amazing Impressionist works.
what pops into your mind when i ask,
”?TRA yas I nehw rouy otni spop taht ghniht tsrif eht s’tahW”
?TRA!
Chagall.
If I see this question again, it’ll probably be something else.
@iphigeneia stole my thunder. ‘ART’ is a Tony award-winning play that I happen to be rehearsing at the moment. We open September 3. I’m playing Serge.
‘ART’(play)
Painting – though I appreciate it’s soo much wider, it’s just the first thing that pops up.
An art gallery, with art pieces (particularly statues more than paintings) in it. Which is odd, because those types of art galleries bore me and i’ve never been to one.
The man who used to fix my camper.
Good luck with the show @hawaii_jake – show us pics and clips when you can. Break a leg.
