How many days can you go without using your computer before you go bonkers?
I lost my computer for a week once. I felt lost. It took me a week to get it repaired. How about you?

Depending on what’s happening in the real world I guess I could go quite a while. I recently went two weeks without even turning it on.
At other times I’m only off it to sleep and eat and it would drive me crazy not to be able to use it.
The interesting thing is, when I had the two week break my creative juices started flowing again and I read an awful lot more – my sense of calm was quite nice actually.

I can do it for as long as I need to. My boyfriend got me a laptop, and I’ve had it about 7 months, and I rarely use it. Now if it where my phone, I couldn’t do it.
shego You must be a real lucky person
I can go along time without my pc, and live perfectly fine. That’s denial.
@Pupsdruese I don’t know if lucky, or a curse. I would personally rather write a letter, than type one.
And the reason I can’t go without my phone, is because it’s the main way I access this website.
I don’t have much choice. I need a computer all day long at work, and I relax in the evenings by working or playing on my one at home.
Aside from my job, not having access to the few things I use the PC for isn’t what I fret about. It’s the myriad of e-Mail and Blogs that one would have to slog through just to get current.
The “Delete” and “Mark All Read” buttons start looking after a couple of days.
I thought I couldn’t live without my ipod but I haven’t had one for several months now and while I miss it (I lost it) and when I can afford to replace it I’d like to I am doing fine without it. I’m sure I’d get over not having a computer too.
The only electronic device I would have real trouble giving up for a good period of time would be my iPod. I gotta have my music. Other than that, it would be no problem.
I would say a month. But then again, by the time a month is up I’ll have adjusted to being without it so…perhaps the rest of my life.
Days??? Mine was down for 12 hours one day and I was a royal hag. Before getting a computer I wondered how people spent hours on them. Had mine two years now and love interacting with friends I’ve made all over the world.
