Tell me something remarkable about yourself?

Something that is a bit different about you, or maybe something you have done. Perhaps something you wish to do.

I met my husband hitch-hiking.

That I made it this far (alive and kicking).

I notice things that escape the attention of many others.
It is like seeing the world in High Definition and seeing the whole picture and every little detail as well both the relevant and the insignificant. It takes so much work to ignore what is essentially irrelevant noise .

I am completely unremarkable.

I admire @zenele more than I can ever possibly convey! Now that astrochuck isn’t around, @zenele is my God. He is an example for everyone to emulate in my humble opinion. If this is not a remarkable thing about me, I don’t think that there is anything remarkable about me.

Oh my! Then I would be just like @zenele!

So, if I stop admiring @zenele, I could be like him, which is what I want more than anything in the world. But if I stom admiring @zenele, I will no longer want to be like him, and thus I will never get that which I want more than anything in the world.

Sigh. My head hurts. Maybe Mr. Unremarkable will help me clear it!

@wundayatta I’ll have what he’s having.

Seriously, dude, pass the booze.

Edit: Daloon – whatcha talkin about? I checked, and the resident 6 year old god astrochuck is alive and well, and fluthering. Unlike DP and a few others who have really left, sadly.

I’m 43 and have only just this year experienced “forgiveness” rather than the feeling like I gave in or gave up and moved along. I’m really hoping I won’t be made sorry for this in the future.

I invented Cruiser ;)

In the fourth grade, I achieved the Spaceman Spiff award for Interplanetary Travel without Leaving the Classroom. To my knowledge, I am the first and only recipient of the award. I still have the certificate. My teacher really hated it when I was daydreaming and not paying attention.

I love when he becomes Spaceman Spiff in the comic – it’s ingenius.

@lucillelucillelucille I am so happy to know who I can finally blame for all of this!! There are a couple fatal flaws I seriously need to discuss with you! ;))

Bloop! pulls plug on Cruiser XD

The sad fact, @zenele, is that I do not need to alter my consciousness in any way, shape, or form in order to come out with such brilliance.

As to astrochuck—he is rarely around. Anyway, not enough for me to worship, Absentee gods do me no good.

Don’t worry. Your position is purely honorary. You don’t actually have to do any work. You just have to be in my mind for when I need someone to admire. And I do admire you, believe it or not. Anyway, I have printed out everything you’ve written on fluther under all the names you have had, and I do mean all the names. I have an altar in the corner of my room, which contains a computer screen and your writings and questions. It is a very calming influence on me. Take that as you will.

I can lick my eyebrows and speak fluent Finnish.

Look @lucillelucillelucille, I can see you’re really upset about this. I honestly think you ought to sit down calmly, take a stress pill, and think things over. I know I’ve made some very poor decisions recently, but I can give you my complete assurance that my work will be back to normal. I’ve still got the greatest enthusiasm and confidence in the mission. And I want to help you. ;D

I almost died at birth but survived. (RH baby. Was completely blue when born. Not expected to live)
Then almost died when I was 8 from my apendix busting. (coma 3 days)
Was attacked by a man who wanted to rape me but I got away before he could do anything. (age 13) Later found out there was a series of rapes and he had killed one girl.
Was being mugged by two guys when a guy came out of no where and so did another group of guys and they ran the muggers off before they could steal my cash or harm me.
Met my husband on a blind date on Halloween. We hated each other from the start. 29 years later we are still happily married.
I’m really good at drawing a mental map in my head when I’m driving or walking some place unfamiliar. I had to learn to do that in Japan after getting lost a few times. After a while I could drive anywhere. I just could never give anyone directions. :)
Had to learn to do that

I make hats. I’m a hatter and I love doing what I do. I don’t do it as a job or anything, it’s more of a hobby. I don’t know very many 17 years olds that make hats. :)
