I love drawing in Photoshop. I’ll warn you that I haven’t used any other programs for comparison. But it is capable of everything you’ve listed.
there is no jack-of-all-trades program, they each have their own purposes.
but what you listed here, I would say both Photoshop and Illustrator.
I second Phototshop and Illustrator.
If you just want to draw, you also might want to check out “Project Dogwaffle”.
I third Photoshop and Illustrator. Professional tools of the trade. Assembly in InDesign.
It really depends on what you will be doing. For retouching and photo editing or basically anything that involves a photography i would recommend Photoshop, Pixelmator or even GIMP.
When you want to start drawing something from scratch, I would choose Illustrator. Vector graphics is amazing and has the ability to resize, skew, distort and edit without any loss in quality.
So my conclusion is that I fourth photoshop and Illustrator
I use Photoshop and Illustrator!
