Recommend a Mac-compatible GPS for geocaching?

Asked by zenvelo (39545points) August 17th, 2010

I went to REI looking for a GPS for backpacking and geocaching, but the software is all Windows based. Is there a good GPS with Mac-compatible software?

I pulled this off the FAQ of the Garmin website:
ote: All of Garmin’s Mac compatible software requires MacOSX 10.4. or later.

You could use an iPhone – many would say that they’re Mac compatible.

I use Garmin and their products are now Mac happy. I think this may be a fairly recent development. I have a handheld Gekko in addition to my in car Nuvi and I originally could not connect the Gekko.
