I want to find directories or popular sites to find handymen (local). I know about craigslist!

To trigger a Google Local, or Yahoo Local result in their search engines, search “City, State Handymen” or other keyword like “Plummer”, etc…
Example 1: “Plummers Near Chicago Illinois”
Example 2: “Handyman around Phoenix”
Look for niche directories by searching those same keywords and going through the deeper results down the page, that come after the “local” results.
I saw a link to this in the back of MacWorld Magazine about a year ago. They recommended it.

I do believe they charge a small fee to view the site.
Angies’ list always advertises on NPR, so they MUST be good. Right?

A great place to check out is your local craigslist.org. They have listings for all kinds of services like that.
