Hot corned beef on rye with plain mustard. Close runners-up: club sandwich with cheese, grilled cheese, BLT, and of course the venerable hotdog and hamburger. Chicken salad on wholemeal ahh i’m starving now!

Ham, lettuce, tomato, potato salad, coleslaw and beetroot crammed in very thick, crusty white bread. Messy to eat, disgusting to watch and out of this world.

Hot ham and swiss on toast.

Reuben yummy,yum,yum yumola;)

I have so many.

But my most unusual favorite is…
Liverwurst and Swiss with onion and mustard on rye bread.

Chicken salad (including the kind from Chick Fil-a) and BLT second. I do not eat white sandwich bread anymore and rarely eat sandwiches!

Sourdough sub roll
Light spread of mustard on one half
Lettuce
Tomatoes sprinkled with crushed black pepper
Thin sliced red onion
Mortadella
White American cheese, preferably Land o Lakes brand

Tomato sandwich. Not store bought….the real deal!

If no Mortadella then Olive Loaf and if both are available then both will go on my sammich!

I hated chicken salad. Now it’s my favoriiiiiittttttte. No fruit in it though. This is America.

That’s okay Freedom Fry, I’ve known him a little longer than you. I’ve made him many a sandwich. Happy almost one month on fluther; I’ve been here since May.

Freedom fry, It’s french fry. Ahem,

BLT with real or turkey bacon and avacado. Turkey breast, as in real leftover turkey, with cranberry sauce ( my own ) on the side.
On rare occasion I love meatloaf sandwiches ( my own meatloaf ).

I also love tuna salad with relish and chicken salad.

I do NOT like lunch meat except for occasionally smoked ham with mustard.

@zenele is right. Pastrami FTW! Hey, wait, if you’re still there, who’s theat zen_ dude, then?

However, if we take a broader definition of sandwich, I’d have to go for a döner kebab. And then a pastrami sandwich.

@Frenchfry Oh, it is freaking awesome. Last year in Madrid I ate at this place that’s officially one of the best in the history of the world because they served both kebabs and Heineken.

I like beer and I like sandwiches, but I can’t drink beer with food at all, waaay to filling.

I like a few beers FIRST, then food, then bed. lololol

Toasted whole wheat bread, veganaise, just a dab of stone ground mustard, splash of red wine vinegar, dash of Spike seasoning, sprinkle of parmesan cheese, few slices of oven roasted turkey, few pieces of bacon, slice of pepperoni and slice of hard salami. THAT is my perfect sandwich. Gosh I really want one now.. nomnom.

I have several, i like samis. :) One is a cheese and tomato sami, i also put on mustard and a special spice on here to make it super yummy. I love avo sami’s too, and just plain old Marmite ones also. And peanut butter or peanut butter with honey or syrup. Grilled cheese samis are good too. Oh, and cucumber and cheese samis! And egg & mayo samis. I think that about covers it…

My mood determines what my favorite is. In this heat, my favorite is Tomato Sandwich.
