Is there a movie that you've watched, that you think you'd like to live in?
You know, if you had to pretend you’re not watching a movie but a real life thing…which movie would you liked to have lived in?

Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory!!! Yummy for my tummy, BuuUURRrrp!!! :¬)
Yes, that sweetie garden with the chocolate river looks yummy. :D
No, but ever since I watched Everything is Illuminated I have coveted a big sunflower field :) This one scene in the movie with the flowers will remain with me forever. It was stunningly beautiful.
I want to try on every single costume from “My Fair Lady” even Professor Higgins’ ;)
@NaturallyMe How awesome to have unveiled a golden ticket. I’d have quite fancied the oppurtunity to kick an oompah loompah too :¬D
Somewhere In Time with Christopher Reeves. He hypnotises himself to go back in time to be with a woman he sees in a portrait.
I’d like to live in any of the Andy Hardy movies except the last one (Andy hardy Comes Home). Anybody old enough to remember who Andy Hardy is?
@muppetish I love you for having seen that movie. It really is a beautiful country.
I am madly in love with the house from the movie A Good Year.
@ucme LOL Just don’t kick him into the river and spoil the chocolate!
@TheOnlyNeffie I love that you look at houses in movies too. There is a house in the movie Tequila Sunrise with Mel Gibson (mid 80’s) that I love.
@chyna I go weak in the knees over great scenery before a hot actor. True story. ;)
@TheOnlyNeffie Her house was stunning. I also fell in love with the languages after watching the film. If I could learn to speak Ukrainian and Russian, I’d be a happy camper – they’re gorgeous. You can’t beat the music, either.
@chyna, Somewhere in Time is one of my faves. Loved the story, the music and Reeves’ acting (I still miss the guy), and the bitter-sweet ending.
@muppetish I agree, that entire scene is breathtaking!
My family is Ukrainian, and the language has evolved dramatically in the last 50 years. There are several dialects that my own grandparents can’t understand. So the Ukrainian language that I know may very well be useless if I were to visit at this point.
Barbarella (1968)
The 13th Warrior (1999)
The Omega Man (1971)
Groundhog Day (1993)
Dr. No (1962)
This may sound weird, but I loved the world Peter Jackson created in “The Lovely Bones.” Even though a child died, it seemed like a nice, innocent time and place.
I would love to live in Marie Antoinette (2006). Every scene was so beautiful. Plus, I wouldn’t mind living at the palace of Versailles. :)
Any film that takes place in Hong Kong. Seriously, I would love to live there, it’s like NYC but with awesome heart clogging food and a subway system that doesn’t suck balls.
Also, I would love to live in Pandora from Avatar. Rev up those haters, cause I liked that film!
I would love to live in the Shire with the Hobbits from LOTR.

@gypsywench : exactly what i was thinking. Marie Antoinette was so beautiful, the parties, the palaces, the horses, the clothing.
as far as houses go, the house in The Family Stone was nice, not pretentious, big, cozy, lived in. My kinda house.
Disney’s Alice in Wonderland (1951)
