Is this a good steal on a 2004(?) Specialized Tarmac?

Quite frankly, I don’t care if someone else offers, I’m just curious for future reference. Obviously it needs a new saddle and probably a few other upgrades, but would ~$500 be a pretty good deal?

it’s an okay price. don’t know where you are, so it has to be shipped, add $100, plus it needs to be insured for shipping. It’s an old bike, and it’s only 7 speed cassette, plus it’s the lowest level gruppo of Shimano, (105).

try watching both craigslist and ebay to get a sense of prices.

I wouldn’t spend that much money on anything I hadn’t given a good looking over. Who knows what it’s really worth just from a picture and a description on eBay?
