My current. 12 years, I am the younger.
My husband is 16 years older than I.
My current relationship, I am 5 years and 3 months older than my g/f. She was 18 when we started dating, and I was 23…. now it is 19 and 25.
This was many years ago. She was 20 years younger. A disaster!
Considerably older? No. Two years my senior. But I don’t really date much.
The oldest person who tried to pick me up was fourteen years older. We were sitting next to each other on a plane. It was awkward.
My boyfriend (the only one I’ve had) is 12 days older than me. We’re eons apart… :P

Well, when I was 17, a 23 year old guy I met online fell in love with me. He wanted to do a long-distance relationship, despite never having met in person, and I resisted. I had a bit of a crush on him but never fully reciprocated his feelings. Finally when I admitted to him that our feelings weren’t mutual, he refused to believe me… ‘twas very strange… It ended pretty badly. Now I believe he’s married to the girl he should have been with all along, who I merely distracted him from. I’m happy for him.

When I was 23 I dated a guy who was 46. We figured it was OK cuz I was just older than his oldest child and he was younger than my youngest parent. ;-) We had a great time for awhile and then it was done, no hard feelings, no problems and not age related.

When I was 21 I had a fun little thing for a few months with a woman who was twice my age.
6.5 years, I was the older one and we dated for almost 2 years.
Sixteen years. And that one lasted for 8 years. I’ve seen other couples with much bigger gaps than that, some with an older man and some with an older woman, but in actuality big age differences are not all that common.
Gawd, he must be . . . really old now!

Fling- 14yrs younger.
Relationship- 12yrs younger, 4yr live-in partnership.
25 years older. I’m not even 25 now (I was 21 when we dated), so the numbers themselves are pretty creepy. But like @JilltheTooth said, he was younger than my youngest parent and I was older than his oldest child. He was politely stand-offish at first, but I really liked him and eventually won him over. It was a fun relationship that lasted for a few months.
I’ve always liked the younger guys.

I did date a boy that was 16 when I just turned 19. That sounds so wrong now that I have sons that are that age. :/
She was 28 years younger. Lasted for a year. Only tried that once. Yes she was very legal.
I think to add to this question, the difference is very big if you are younger. Like, if there is only a few years’ difference but you’re in your teens or early 20’s, there’s a big difference.
However, if you are in your 40’s, 50’s or 60’s, the difference could be one or two decades and it’s not that big of a deal.
@jca: I also wholeheartedly agree and more, for me then anyone over 30yrs old has been pretty much the same bag of tricks.
When I was 28 an 18 year old girl seduced me.
When I was a teen I dated a woman 4 years older than me for a few years.
He was older than me by 14 years.
