Are there more 30 day blog challenges somewhere?
Someone turned me on to the 30 Day Letter Challenge. I don’t actually have a blog (those of you who have added me on facebook can see that I’m just posting my letters as notes there.), but I am having so much fun with it. I’m only on day 9, but I catch myself dreading when the 30 days is up.
Are there more challenges like this out there somewhere? If not… do you have any suggestions of your own?

I don’t know of any, but I should. So I’m going to follow this.
The only 30 day challenge I’ve ever don was the with Bikram yoga – 30 classes in 30 days, consectively. You could also photograph your fridge contents for 30 days in a row, it’ll be neat.
@Simone_De_Beauvoir that sounds intense.
I was hoping for writing challenges, and my fridge is usually empty (oops.) But that is a creative idea, don’t be surprised if I start posting pics next month. :)
@Simone_De_Beauvoir no worries. If my fridge weren’t so boring, I’d probably jump right on it. Definitely makes you wonder what habits you would change if you knew everyone would be peeking in your fridge every day!
Ooh, here looks like one I’d be more likely to do – writing letters to inanimate objects.
Man… I tried that 30 Day Letter Challenge and just couldn’t finish. It was dredging up too much stuff I didn’t want to think about (not to mention I was wholly invested in the World Cup at the time.) I also tried to write 100 words a day for a novel I’m working on. That didn’t work out either. I’m terribly, terribly behind.
I think it would be fun to create a character a day for thirty days. Maybe we can create a Fluther writing challenge?
@Seek_Kolinahr I’m shocked that I have never written a letter to a dinosaur before. That list looks like fun :)
@muppetish If I’m allowed to use my dice and my DMG, I’ll totally make a character every day for 30 days. ^_^
“A letter to Gary Busey”. LOL
@muppetish I know someone else who felt the same way. It was just, far too personal. I was nervous that I wouldn’t want to publish my letters, but as soon as I started it was like a big door just opened up. I’ve found it very cathartic so far. I catch myself looking forward to the tomorrow’s letter before the sun has even gone down.
@Seek_Kolinahr I insist that you roll. That would make for a fun read.
@TheOnlyNeffie It was fairly cathartic for me until I reached day eleven. I miss writing though.
Ooh, yay. This will be fun. My old, abandoned Blogspot needs a revival, anyway.
I found one when I started tumblr.
I started my 30 days, 30 characters last night.
Here‘s the first one. The dice hate me – Had a strength roll of four, and a Constitution of 16. That was hard to work around, but I kinda like the guy.
I know it’s not a thrity day thing, per se. But, it could be. When I started tumblr, I thought it’d be fun and to get my blogging skills better to list 5 random things I love.
