They have decided that CSS is bullshit. They are going back to a table based layout. It will fucking rock. Donors will get get frames with flash based ads. HTML 2.0 is key.
I don’t know.. Ask the mods with the contact button.
Oh man I have some sweet GIF89 images they can use. Just toss those puppies in a <blink> tag and you’re set. I’ll even join their web ring.
Next up I think is we’re removing all compatibility with FF/safari and only supporting IE6.
IE6? If you were hardcore you’d only support Lynx and Mosaic.
Hint: There’s a new feature coming any day now that is related your Fluther score…
Guesses will get hot/cold-style responses.
Score will have a cash value?
@glial cold (nice try though)
Upon second thought, I’d like to announce that Fluther is making points redeemable for COLD HARD CASH at a 1,000,000:1ยข ratio. Points can be exchanged at the homes or workplaces of any Fluther employee. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited.
In return for point’s, will we get sexual favour’s?
@axlefoley cold, however it is well known that women love men with big Fluther scores
Will we be able to see what posts are giving us our points?
Come on, I’am falling of the edge of me seat here!
Can we have a clue please?
@axlefoley I already gave a big hint. Riser’s guess was very close. If you can’t figure it out, you’ll just have to wait a little longer to see the feature in all its glory.
All vowels will be banned.
Will you finally find a way to prevent and (eventually) eliminate all that useless questions that lower the appeal and reputation of fluther?
@qashqai Actually, yes. We we have a solution for that coming as well, but it’s going to take a little longer. Stay tuned.
In the mean time, you can flag the bad questions and our moderators will get right on it.
Will answers and questions with high scores be highlighted? And a page where you can see a list of your highest-rated answers and questions?
You know what I’d like to see? Blocking individual users. I’d like to be able to declare that I’ll never again see a question or answer from a user who’s shown himself or herself only capable of bathroom humor and fart jokes.
Or at least the ability to ignore certain topics.
Heh. I think Andrew was joking . . .
@figbash nope, he was totally serious. Microsoft is writing us a big check to do it. That’s how we’re financing the score-for-cash redemption program.
@sferik: oh, and to get the cash, Bill Gates will track how many emails we send about it, right?
@cwilbur how did you find out about that?
@sferik: someone sent me and all the other people in his address book an email about it! and if 10000 people forward his email, he’s going to buy us all iMacs!
