I like Merlot….usually buy Kendall-Jackson.

Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio. I’ve been wine tasting a few times and also like this blackberry wine.
I dont drink wine but i heard on the news that red wine has health benefits.
@Blackberry Blackberry hey…loll makes sense to me my friend.
@artichowl yes, the red does have h-benefits…
Welcome to Fluther.
A few of my favs:
Witch creek Winery
“Muscat Love”
Bouquet of orange blossoms, taste light pear and apricot with a clean finish
—
Mad Housewife
“Merlot”
Mad Housewife Merlot marries complex flavors of blackberries and plum with hints of vanilla and spice, for a rich and smooth wine, easily pairable with an array of dishes.
—
Fat Bastard
“Pinot Noir”
Lively and elegant with ripe red fruits and a hint of floral notes. Soft, smooth tannins and rich flavors of strawberries and raspberries, finishing with cherry notes.

Fat Bastard
“Merlot”
Rich and dense, the complexity of the flavors plays out progressively, beginning with blackberry and plum and finishing with toasty cedar aromas. Tannins are ripe, juicy and delicate.

I’m a big red wine fan basically. >_<
Loll…now @MoxieGal, those are different. Love the names!
I am a big white merlot fan. I can drink oodles of the stuff. I mean not in one night of course.
@Frenchfry loll..glad you qualified that my friend.
Chaz i’ve never drank rice wine. How is it different from other wines?
Goes great with most foods. And, for me.
I do not get a hangover. ALL other wine, if drinking more then a couple of glasses, with turn my head into a 50lb hunk of lead.
oh, have to check it out.
My personal favorite is Syrah (also commonly called Shiraz)... a nice powerful red grape wine. I like the Rosemount brand for about $10, maybe even Barefoot for about $8…
@BoBo1946 The first thing I thought of was Sideways. “No, if anyone orders Merlot, I’m leaving. I am NOT drinking any fucking Merlot! ” ;-)
I love dry white wines, especially New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. They have this zesty, grassy, citrus flavor that’s out of this world. Verdejo from Spain is also really good. It’s similar, but has fruitier flavors like apples and lemons. I also love Pinot Noir from Oregon, when I can afford it.
Does an overly sweet sparkling wine count? But even that i can’t drink too much of because i generally can’t stand the taste of any wines (except some of the sparkling ones, and then here i can only drink limited amount).
Although, having just read @MoxieGal‘s description of the Fat Bastard Pinot Noir, i would like to try that one, it sounds deliciously fruity. :D However i have doubts about whether i’ll be able to detect these fruity flavours through the icky wine taste…
@Haleth lmao….............works for me my friend…loll..that hit my funny bone!
Anything cabernet or shiraz. Though lately I’ve had a craving for some white.
Riesling
And the “G” stuff. . .
You can tell I’m a connoisseur. . .
@papayalily

Cabernet Sauvignon. I could really go for some right now.
I’ll drink any kind of wine but I prefer Pinot Grigio and Merlot. Sometimes Cabernay Soveign.
@boffin Gewürztraminer (Gah-vurtz-tra-meener)
A friend got me started on Chocovine Wine. Love it. One glass and I’m mellow~
I like them all. After one glass it all taste gooood.
Sherry is my drink of choice.
