Just for fun: is there anything you really wish your SO would do for you, but they never do?
Like, i wish mine would treat me to something fun on my b’day (including cake and gifts). And i wish he would play board games with me.
Keep answers in the light hearted spirit in which the question intends, ‘k? :)

I kind of wish she’d watch the football with me once in a while. Although I understand entirely why she doesn’t. To her credit however she does like to keep track of how my team’s results have gone.
I would love him to less naps. I must realize he is a 51 year old doing a 24 year olds job. 12 hours a day or more . I have to let him take a nap. If he aint sleeping I would appreciate the garage clean out. I have been after him for months now. I have to go out there to do my laundry!I know it’s his man cave but give me a break.
@ucme If i want to snooze, i watch Grand prix with my husband. The sounds of the cars driving make me want to catch a cozy nap on the couch. :)
@NaturallyMe Oh she likes some sports, Grand Prix included. I’‘m probably wanting the best of both worlds, watching footy & snuggling up with the Mrs at the same time.Selfish bugger that I am :¬)
He already did it. He gave me a divorce in 2003! haha
The gift that keeps on giving!
@Coloma Sure, just rub it in, won’t you, while you laugh in the face of the rest of us who don’t get what we want? :P ;)
@NaturallyMe
LOL….well, gotta give it to yourself…the best way to get what you want. ;-)
@Coloma ain’t that the truth sometimes! :)
Edit: anyone who has to get their own b’day cake is not obliged to share it though.
The best way to get your husband to do something is to tell him your going to hire someone to do it! lol
@NaturallyMe
Step away from the cake! haha
Hehe, i’ve used that threat sometimes. I think i should start implementing it, tee hee.
i’ll step away once the plate is clean, don’t you worry. :)
Throw me a surprise party.
@marinelife i also wish that i would get surprises of any nature! I love them but never get any. **sniff**
@NaturallyMe Send me your address, and I’ll send you a surprise!
I wish he’d go to a classical performance with me. It’s not that he’s refused outright, but he’s never expressed any kind of interest and volunteers non-classical concerts for us to go to all the time, but never seems interested when I bring up something classical and I don’t want to “insist” on it. One of these days…
No, i’m happy the way it is.
I’d like him take me shopping for gorgeous lingerie he thinks is alluring and then ask me to put it on at home after he’s lit a bunch of candles, chilled champagne, started up a warm shower for us and put dinner on warm.
When I’m sick, I wish he would think to offer food and water without me having to ask. He’s always there when I do ask, and even brought me an intercom to call him.
@YARNLADY
LOL Well that WAS nice! You can call him in the garage? hahahaha
There is nothing like that – if I want him to do something and he knows it means something to me, he does it.
I should say that if I ask then my guy will say yes to just about anything I want, especially if I make a list and set a timeline but that’s not really the point, you know.
I wish he would put on women’s underwear for me.
@KatawaGrey: Be careful with what you ask for- I had one who decided he liked mine more than his but didn’t like doing laundry.
@Neizvestnaya: I’ve asked hi and he said no. Even if he did, he couldn’t even fit one leg into my underwear. :P
@Simone_De_Beauvoir: Next time I’m single, can I borrow your husband?
I wish she’d stop contacting my other SO’s.
I’d like him to announce that he’s stopped smoking.
I just wish he would come shopping with me and NOT walk around with his arms folded.
@serafina I fold my arms while I push the trolley around. At the same time as i’m riding on the damn thing. Got to liven up an otherwise deadly dull experience. I mean somebody please tell those folks to stop chatting whilst taking up the bloody aisle space. Oh & it would be lovely if, just once in a while, people would HURRY UP!!!! :¬)
@ucme hahaha and do you get a lucky bag for being a good boy!
The only input you’s seem to have is beer & sweets you’s haven’t had since you were kids
@serafina Ahh, that’s why they put the sweeties next to the checkout. So I can stamp my feet & get what I want….so there see!! ;¬}
@ucme Indeed, other people often times find a way to make the shopping experience an annoying one! :D
@YARNLADY Me too, i get no help when i’m feeling sick, unless i ASK for it. And then i only ask for the bare minimum so as to not make him do something he doesn’t feel like doing. Sheesh. Some things just shouldn’t have to be asked for, ya know?! :)
@ucme husbands who want to rush the shopping experience and get home, or SLOW shoppers who block the way forward (very very annoying), hehe.
Read to me. That would make me so insanely happy.
I also wish my guy would play more games with me. I’m 25 but I still love playing board and card games. Sometimes I get lucky and he wants to play, but usually I have to beg him.
@Nicole8 what do you mean you’re 25 “but”? :P I’m 31 and still love games. :) I’m passed snakes & ladders and ludo and such, but i still love Scrabble and Monopoly and 30 Seconds and Boggles etc. :D Mine doesn’t even want to play with me when i beg. **sniff** I had to bribe him to play one time by giving him my share of dessert, sheesh, hehe. :)
