How can I get the worms 2 demo to work on windows 7?

I’ve tried running wirms 2 on every compatibility setting, how can I get it to work? The installer doesn’t even show up when I try to run it.

Worms 2 is pretty old and isn’t compatible with windows 7.

However, Worms: Reloaded is. There is a demo available on steam.
