Don’t you think there should be some totally awesome iPhone application that sends you push notifications when there is a question for you, or perhaps when someone answers your question? Also u could search easily through questions, topics, and can easily answer questions without actually having to do everything from safari. Just weird there’s not one already.

There is! But, no push notifications as far as I know…
We had an app but pulled it because we don’t have the engineering resources to keep it up to date. Perhaps in the future we will change that.
For now, use the mobile version of Fluther: http://i.fluther.com/
don’t have the engineering resources == The app was total shit. I know, I tried using it.
What is my little Fluther app? A shortcut to the mobile site?
The app was a wrapper for the mobile site that manged to break a perfectly good mobile site. At least it was free.
We don’t have the engineering resources for it so some friends of Fluther built it. We didn’t build it ourselves. It was basically a wrapper to the website and the website changed while the app didn’t.
Ya, no, totally. I used the old app too and I agree, it sucked. That sucks there’s not more engineering goin on though. Cause push notifications would be totally bitchin’. Hopefully the dudes at fluther can come to a cool app in the future. But for now the mobile website is pretty fly… Push notifications, though. Ya, push.
Do you mean the old app was a wrapper or the current app? Because I’m using something!
I wish I’d been able to try it. But, oh well. Hopefully, you guys may be able to put out a new app someday. I think it would be a good idea because I have lots of friends with iPod touches and iPhones and I want to spread the word about Fluther.
