Skype?
Google has only mainland service for now…
I’m abroad and would like to call the States, so I’ll have to keep a look out for providers here; but how do you call abroad?

Skype works great for me and I have found it to be the cheapest. You can call from computer to computer or from computer to phone line (the fee it very little in comparison to regular international fees). Also a little tip that I do, if the person has a computer, call them from your computer to their phone for a small fee and then ask them to call you back from their computer to your computer (which is free!). Then you can talk as long as you like and it is free. This also keeps you from having to try and ‘catch’ them when they are at their computer.
Have you researched Magic Jack? I don’t know enough about it to explain it, but I do know my brothers wife, who is from Morocco and her family still lives there, uses Magic Jack and she calls them daily. Knowing my brother, they have researched all forms of long distance rates. But I really don’t know enough about it to recommend it.
Skype gets my vote. As far as I’m aware, it’s the cheapest. You can also call mobile/cell phones via skype.
Thanks guys. Looking into magic jack chyna – looks very promising.
