I kinda thought 9 month abortion was called induced labor… It sounds bad but think about it for a moment.

Anyway, the law as far as I know states that if the baby takes a breath, it’s a human being and killing it is, well, murder and thus very illegal.

This is not entirely true but is rather an exageration of what has taken place. The SC decision to uphold the ban on partial birth abortion has resulted in some bizarre practices. To insure a fetus is not born alive some institutions will use a lethal injection prior to the abortion to insure the fetus is not born alive. It is not much better than what you heard but legally acceptable.
