What is the best device to hear sound coming from a ps3?

I want to know does the sound and video sound alright through the tv if I hook up a ps3 slim to a lcd tv? I dont have to buy the best thing to hear it on do I?

i ended up buying a Panasonic 2.1 set up, as the sound through my LG tv wasn’t fantastic, especially when watching blue ray movies. With decent sound it’s a much more immersive experience!
