Which do you rather, cats or dogs or other?

it is now dogs, since my allergies to cats are worse.

Dogs.

Finches even though they make a lot of mess.

I love cats and dogs equally and am a proud owner of both. I also love tortoises.

I love all animals, but I have often gone many years without any pets because they they take a lot of time and care.

Cats!

I have had both and love both. i tend to lean toward dogs. if an intruder is illegaly in your home, a cat will not alarm you. a dog will. barking.

I like all pets and have had Many. I do like cats to be outside (The farm all day and barn or protected porch at night, except for coming in for some lovin’. I have always had one or several dogs. Two is now fine. I prefer personalities rather than type of animal. I like the animals that enjoy each other, people, and are obedient (after training)
I adore horses so I like the dogs and cats to not chase horses, cars, or bikes and to get along with the horses, chickens (this takes lots of training), each other, kids, and the environment.

Cats and geese and horses. Not necessarily in that order.

I’m a failure with dogs, a total pushover and all of my dogs were evil, so, no more dogs, ever.

I love both. I especially like lazy dogs and affectionate cats. The sweetest dogs I have ever met (my cousin’s Old English Sheepdog and my friend’s white Alaskan Malamute) were the chillest, laid-back dogs I have ever met. They liked to lay at your feet, nuzzle your ankles, and receive hugs all day :) The sweetest cat I ever met was a rescue owned by a woman who ran a flower shop. She was missing patches of fur after a vet visit. She was extremely vocal and demanded petting.

I just love animals. They’re wonderful.

I like how cats are self reliant but I also like how loving dogs are. Dogs get the edge because I’m allergic to cats though.

dogs, they are more loyal and they can’t wait till you come home. With cats they’re like “Oh, you’re back again, I see”

Cats, definitely prefer cats. I have special and deep felines for them.

Dogs > Cats > Other (IMO).

I would love to have a dog. Once we are settled, we will be getting one. I just don’t want to have one moving all around when there aren’t guarantees that we would be able to take it with us.

Cats & dogs are okay…if they stay outside. I really like my children…and they really like cats & dogs.

Actually I like camels too. My neighbors have a pair, camel lips are the bomb, not really into camel toes though. lol

Although I have both, I prefer dogs because it seems that I’ve never had a cat that has not been evil…and I’ve had 6 in my lifetime so far. lol.

I prefer cats.

Cats, bar none. Cuter, easier to take care of, not as slobbery and messy, don’t need walking, and not so needy. :P

I prefer cats. I have 2 right now. I love Horses but I live in the city and the stables are so expensive so I don’t get to ride anymore. I like dogs the least but I still like them. They are too needy, whereas my cats are affectionate but on their own terms.

Gracie and Rocky, my cats, don’t know it, but we are going to get a dog, some time in the future! My cats run & greet me and roll on the floor…..with obvious joy, of course!

Dogs for me as well. Man’s best friend and all that.

I’m a dog person.

But sometimes I wish I were a cat.

I love both, but dog’s are more work. I have two rescue cats presently

@zzc, if Gracie is the name of one of your cats I must tell you that you have extremely good choice in naming!
Still, even with two cats and no dogs because live in the city on an ambulance route, I still much prefer dogs!

I couldn’t believe these two, I could hardly hoist one of them. Skinny people with fat cats. lol

I’m a cat person all the way, my kitties are my children. I’ve recently got a small dog puppy, because i wanted a dog as well, however i wouldn’t trust big dogs around my cats, so i settled for a small dog (daschund). We had alsations whie growing up. Anyway, i still prefer cats 100 times more. (not to mean that i don’t care for the puppy, obviously).
