That’s what iTunes is for. Works fine for me.
No. You can’t transfer songs from the iPod to the computer with iTunes, and Limewire/Frostwire are file sharing programs.
Are you on a Mac or PC?
I’m on a Mac now, but I was on a PC before. I was able to transfer my library…
The best program for it is iRip, but it’s not free.
Otherwise you can just do it manual for mac or PC (to the OP).
@llewis I am nearly 100% certain iTunes doesn’t allow you to move songs from the iPod to iTunes. You can however very easily go from iTunes to the iPod.
As I said, I moved my entire library to my new computer using iTunes and my iPod. Actually, I wasn’t aware you could even connect your iPod to a computer using anything else. Believe me, I would remember if I had had to reload all my music! :)
Ok well what happened is i had my whole itunes library and everything on my pc. I got a virus and had to do a complete system recovery back to my computers original factory condition. And i was not able to save any of the songs or anything. But if i plug my ipod into itunes now it will re-sync the ipod and erase everything that is on the ipod. I-tunes is for moving songs onto an ipod only, not reverse. But i know there are some programs out there like tune-tools and other programs that are made for this but they cost a crapload of money and so i was wondering if anybody knew of a free program that will allow me to do this.
