What kind of questions have been moderated that you asked, while other questions of a similar nature got through?
There are questions on here about swinging couples, how wide is a big toe, where do babies come from, etc. Yet some other questions get moderated as “chatroom appropriate. Does anyone have a clue how this works?

I believe that if people flag questions, the moderaters take note. Sometimes it is too exhausting to flag, flag, flag. But I agree with you about swingers and toe widths.
You might click on “Contact” and ask the powers-that-be your question.
Gail,
I have before and never gotten an answer other than it was appropriate for chatroom.
Then I have no answer. Continue to flag the big toes and swingers, I guess. Maybe the mods. are overwhelmed with flagged questions. There certainly seem to be a spate of uninteresting or downright meanspirited stuff appearing.
I don’t flag anything. If I don’t like it, I move to another question.
Could you give some examples of questions being removed that shouldn’t have been? Some questions will surely slip the net or too many people have already replied to deem removing them necessary, but just because a question is left on Fluther doesn’t mean that it was a good question.
Also, topics like this don’t really belong in the main section of Fluther. You can speak directly to the moderators in the Man ‘o War chatroom at https://fluther.campfirenow.com/61287 , or to other users in the social room at https://fluther.campfirenow.com/578c0 , where you can properly discuss any issues you have. Like gailcalled mentioned, the ‘Contact’ button is always available too.
Oh, and none of my questions have ever been moderated. Just don’t ask stupid questions.
@richard. I wanted to ask people like you, so yes, I feel it does belong here. That is why I asked. And since I felt that way, I put it here rather than ask the fluther moderators, so to me,and I realize this may not measure up to your standard, but to me, I wanted to put it here.
Thanks for taking the time though to condescend and answer something like this. IMaybe I should pass quiestions by you first to make sure they are not stu[pid by your standard.
I wasn’t actually calling this question stupid, just talking about the questions that generally get moderated.
You’ve still failed to mention a single occasion where a question has been wrongly removed, do you have one to share?
@trainer: I have to say, from having read many of your responses, they do come across as hostile, aggressive and counterproductive. If you are serious about what makes sense here, pull back a little and reread your writings.
And perhaps check out some people like Hossman, Cwilbur, sndfreQ, to see why they are admired and respected. Tone and attitude matter as much as content often. It is hard to write about this without sounding preachy, but you did ask. G
