Of course. If he existed at all, he was Jewish.
What’s a Christan? Oh….Chris tian .
Jesus was a nice Jewish boy.
A bit of a rebel, but a good boy.
Happy New Year, Jesus
He wasn’t a follower of anything, least of all Himself. :D He observed the rites and sacraments of Judaism because He made them.
Yes of course he wasnt a Christian
This is not so obvious to many many Christians worldwide.
What? I grew up in a pentecostal home. Everyone that I know knows that Jesus was a Jew. He counseled the elders when he was twelve, and quoted scripture to answer questions put to him by the San Hedrin. Every Christian that I’ve ever known knows this, and that Peter was the one to found the first church for gentiles. The first “Christians” were Jewish. They followed the teachings of the Christ, received the gift of tongues on the day of pentecost and I can’t imagine to what Christians you refer.
Where are the Christians who are unaware that Christ was not a Christian
Jesus started a movement that his followers called The Way.
Every Christian that I know, knows that Jesus was a Jew.
I suppose you might say he didn’t remain a Jew?
I thought everyone knew he was a Jew. A fairly anarchic one though.
It’s a fact that he’s a Muslim. He’s also a socialist.
And why won’t he produce his birth certificate, hmm?
@AstroChuck…Leave it to you to always put things in stellar perspective. :)
He never heard the word but did he say “Apostle?” I should know this. Or he called his followers a word that means apostle which I can’t remember what that is .
@Aster…@liminal got it…Disciples it is!
It’s worth noting that He followed His own rules (that is, the rules that were set down some centuries previous). I don’t know if that would make him religiously Jewish or not.
