You guessed it… Using a line from a song (extra points if it’s one you’ve heard today) tell us how you’re feeling.

Birds flying high, you know how i feel…..
I’m feeling GOOD
“And I think it’s gonna be all right,
yeah – the worst is over now,
the morning sun is shining like a red rubber ball.”
Now I’m in the limelight
Cause I rhyme tight
Time to get paid
God bless you, B.I.G., for rapping about my life as a midwestern/southern teacher in her 30s.
P.S. @harple Oooo oooo OOOOOOO
“I sleep alone
I cry alone
Without you this house is not a home
So please, come home soon”
“Cause I’m a hero
Like Robert de Niro
I know an Ital Rasta man
Got to keep I heights
Protection until time
The sun is shining
For you and there’s nothing else to do
War is explosive
You got to demonstrate
Don’t fight
‘Cause the sun is shining
For you
There’s nothing else to do”
the New York Times said God is dead
And the war’s begun
I am green today! (It has been quite a long time since I’ve had a green day. I like it. ^_^)
Are you listening? (Whoa,oh,oh,oh,oh,oh)
Sing it back! (Ah,oh,oh,oh,oh,oh)
Jimmy Eat World – Sweetness
‘cuz I can be myself in a small town and people let me be just what I wanna be…’
John Cougar
Another awesome morning on my little mountain!
I feel Like A Virgin, but that’s just another Day In The Life of Brian. :p
@erichw1504 You’ve got me in the mood to blast Bleed American right now.
@lsdh182 Dude, blast their entire collection of albums. Every song is great.
Not good….another friend died last night. A very dear friend. Gotten to be an everyday event lately.
@BoBo1946 I’m sorry for your loss. I hope you and your friend’s family are doing okay (as okay as you can be at least).
My heart is pumping blood. My lungs are exchanging gases. All of my organs are functioning properly. Therefore I have no reason at all to complain. It is good just to be alive. Good health to all!
@Seaofclouds and @Coloma thank you very much. That has been 4 deaths in a week that were close friends or family of my s/o. Life can be tough, but good friends always makes things much better. Thank you again!
I feel like I’ve been run over by a truck.
excuse me, There have been 4 deaths in a week…..
And I run and I run
To catch up with the sun
But it’s sinking
Racing around
To come up behind me again
The sun is the same
In a relative way
But I’m older
Shorter of breath
And one day closer to death
Lyrics by Pink Floyd
Never gonna give you up,
Never gonna let you down,
Never gonna run around and desert you,
Never gonna make you cry,
Never gonna say goodbye,
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you
@BoBo1946 I’m sorry for your losses. Big hug to you.
I just got lyrically Rick Rolled, without even leaving this page. ;-)
@harple thank you very much my friend.
Purple haze all in my brain
lately things don’t seem the same
Acting funny and i don’t know why
excuse me while i kiss the sky
(Thanks Jimi Hendrix)
@BoBo1946 wow; this is amazing isn’t it? I am really sorry! The older we become and the more friends we have will cause this to keep happening. I guess we have to feel grateful that we, at least, are still around.
@Aster yeah, it has been a wild week. First my best friend’s wife died on their dream trip to Rome, Greece, etc. Then, my s/o’s 24 year old niece died of lung cancer and had never smoked in her life, and on top of that, she was almost finished with graduate school. Then, one of my co-woker’s Mother died. Worked with her for 25 years. Also, knew her Mom…very sweet lady. And today, a dear friend that I’ve played golf with for 30 years died.
Thank you very much for your concern my friend!
@BoBo1946 I am sorry to hear that; a rough time for you for sure.
@janbb thank you my friend! Very much!
Our trip started out quite well, even though my back is still hurting. I have a canvas-type back brace which helps a lot. We checked into the hotel for the night, slept through the free breakfast, and got all packed up, ready to move on, when the car refused to start.
Stuck in a parking lot in Tehachapi isn’t good for two little toddlers, so we went back inside the hotel. After a few phone calls, we found out the repair shop is an hour away, so we checked back in, and Hubby went with the tow truck.
The repair can’t be completed until tomorrow, so our plans are now delayed a day. Hubby rented a car to come back to the hotel and take the kids and I out to dinner. I am so glad I always pack a lot of food when we travel. I have enough food to feed us sparingly for two days, if necessary.
The insurance will pay for the tow, repair, and rental, and we had enough points to get another free night at the hotel.
@YARNLADY Don’t some people have all the fun! You, just maybe, thought it was going to be a boring trip! Something to reminisce about to friends later…much later. Keep your chin up. (I don’t laugh at you, but I can see the funny side. I have a cracked sense of funny, in case you couldn’t tell)
@BoBo1946 Just a sign of aging, my fellow Flutherite. Keep your powder dry.
@harple I feel great today, but I’m all songed out! Maybe tomorrow, eh!
This morning I am feeling like a song I just made up:
Sneezing is stupid,
Sneezing is rude,
I hate sneezing,
Gimme your foooood.
To the tune of Ace of Spades by Motorhead.
Gimme silver, blue and gold
the colors of the sky I’m told
my raaaaainbow is overdue
Bad Co.
Theme of the day, painting some rooms in my house.
Okay, not sliver, blue & gold….banded agate and grass cloth! lol
I just wanna break you down so badly
while I trip over everything you say
I just wanna break you down so badly
in the worst way (worst way….)
I’m gonna make damn sure
that you can’t ever leave
no you won’t ever get too far from me….
[Taking Back Sunday ftw!!!!]
ahhhh I’m baaaad when I’m crazy about someone :p
If I could carve his name into my heart, I would <3
hahahaha rockstars take me to the stars
All I see turns to brown
As the sun burns the ground.
And my eyes fill with sand
As I scan this wasted land.
@Andreas Oh, it was funny alright. I never get upset at this type of thing. It got even funnier the next day when the car started right up and the dealer could not find a thing wrong with it.
We even made it to our family’s house in time for the wonderful dinner they had spent two days preparing for us.
I’m broke I’m broke yay yay yay xD :p
