Ah, @ChazMaz, I’m in teacher mode. I can’t help it.
So, would I go to the principal’s office if I drew a dirty picture instead?
@Seek_Kolinahr do it!
Ok, I must be stoopid. I couldn’t figure out how to save it and post here.
Oh man, this artpad thing is so fun. Thanks for sharing.
Ok, tried again.
It’s like I am in third grade again.
This is super fun. GQ and hooray for an excuse to break out the graphics tablet!
Mine
@TheOnlyNeffie – Damn, yours is good! And yep, at least it works with mine.
@MissAnthrope LOL, not so much, but thank you. I just added another thing to my list of reasons that I desperately want a graphics tablet.
Ha. Mine looks nothing like Dr. J.. I like to do my own thang.
@Mama_Cakes I am incredibly jealous of people that are able to see things in a less literal way. I think that makes you far more creative than someone like me.
Wow, we have some artists here, I’m pretty impressed. I like the various interpretations, too!
@TheOnlyNeffie – Tablets are awesome. I coveted one for years, found one for about $40 on Amazon. :)
I could look at these all day! GQ!
Yay! This is awesome. Good call, Mama Cakes. Mine takes a bit, so put it on fast.
@Aster has a masterpiece in the works.
@chyna ; it caaaame from Beyooond Spaaaace!!! I’m thinking Dr J is visiting from Roswell ;-)
::hangs head in shame:: @JilltheTooth It was supposed to look like me, not a space person. :-(
Note the blonde hair, the earrings…
Space person is a good thing! I lurve space persons!
@Fly : You’re very good at this. I’m coming over for lessons, my attempts have resulted in odd blobs.
@JilltheTooth Odd blobs are just as entertaining! But thanks. Don’t be fooled, it took several tries and a lot of time. If only the video showed all of the mistakes I had to undo. ;)
@Fly are you using a tablet, also?
@TheOnlyNeffie I wish I had a tablet. Then I wouldn’t have to deal with a cheap laser mouse that likes to skip to random places and leave giant lines across my painting. But alas, not wanting to pay for a tablet is just another one of the drawbacks of being cheap. ;)
@Neffie =) It was fun to do.
@MissAnthrope that is kind of funny that you drew a cat, because the first thing I doodled after Dr. J was a mouse
This may have to go in the Fluther question hall of fame. Oooooo, I vote for a Hall of Fame tab!!!!
@Fly OMG, that’s excellent.
how’s that essay coming?
@all Merci beaucoup. :)
@Seek_Kolinahr Not too bad. Walking away from it for a while helped a little bit, although it has still taken much more effort than usual. I have my two body paragraphs mostly complete and a wimpy opening that needs elaboration, but certainly better than the entire three sentences I had before.
Glad to hear it. I couldn’t get through the book, either. That one or Watership Down, and my husband just can’t shut up about how much he loves them. Weirdo.
@Fly Alright… how in the heck did you make that last one so good? Did you figure out a way to cheat or something? Don’t make me ground you, girlie. ~
I’ve been trying on and off all day. @Fly has just inspired me to try something else.
@augustlan ; You ground her, I’ll ground you! ;-)
